The 2nd session of the 2018 China-Israel Innovation and Entrepreneurship Contest was successfully held in Tel Aviv, Israel from October 31 to November 1, 2018.
The 30 projects in three fields including ICT (information and communication technology), intelligent manufacture and life science were shortlisted upon under the impartial judgment of Chinese investor judges after two-day Israeli business roadshow, and the field finals and finals would be held in Shenzhen, Shanghai, Changzhou and Beijing in China in mid-December.
China-Israel Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Investment Project Fund was jointly established by five investors including Sino-Israel Assets, Zhongzhi Lianchuang, Mingcheng Culture, Dingsheng Investment and Jiuyishanhe Investment during the contest.
The fund, sized in RMB 55 million, was dedicated to investing in the preferred projects of China-Israel innovation contests.

Cui Yuting, the ounselor of the Science and Technology Department of the Chinese Embassy in Israel, attended the contest and delivered speeches.
Israel is a world-renowned country of innovation. The 2nd session of China-Israel Innovation and Entrepreneurship Contest, as the landmark event of China and Israel to promote new stage of enterprise innovation cooperation, was co-held by China Science and Technology Exchange Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology of China and Israel Innovation Authority.
The contest covered technical fields and fully integrated the hotspots of Chinese enterprises and investment institutions, including the information and communication technology, medical equipment, and intelligent manufacture.
Israeli innovation technologies most suitable for stationing in China will be selected through rounds of selections including the mass selection, preliminary contest, field semifinal and final, and the industrialization of outstanding Israeli projects in China will be helped in China.
The current session of China-Israel Innovation Contest was highly valued by the governments of the two countries and featured with high-level meeting, complementary advantages of innovative resources will be explored, and cooperation requirements will be accurately matched.
