Yesterday, the final of second session of China-Israel Innovation and Entrepreneurship Contest was launched in Wujin District.
The contest was hosted by China Science and Technology Exchange Center, Israel Innovation Authority and Changzhou Municipal People’s Government, and 11 innovative projects in the field of Israeli medical equipment competed on the scene.
Ding Chun, the mayor of Changzhou Municipal People’s Government met with Ivey Lufton, executive director of Asia-Pacific Division of Israel Innovation Authority, and Li Lin, deputy mayor and secretary of Wujin District Party Committee, attended the meeting.
Ding Chun thanked the Israel Innovation Authority for their efforts to promote the establishment of Changzhou Innovation Park and the implementation of “China-Israel Changzhou Innovation Park Co-construction Plan”.
He said that Changzhou has always attached importance to the cooperation with Israel in promoting opening up and technological innovation.
In the next step, Changzhou will conscientiously implement the important directive instructions of Wang Qishan, vice chairman of the People's Republic of China, implement it into the operation without any compromise, and will take the construction of Changzhou Innovation Park as an important carrier platform for economic development to achieve more fruitful cooperation results.
Ivey Lufton said that the joint construction plan centering on China-Israel Changzhou Innovation Park was constantly explored with various effective methods.
Quite a few publicity and promotion events will be held in Israel early next year to attract more advanced Israeli technologies to transform and develop in Changzhou Innovation Park.
